The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles. The group consisted of Jim Morrison on vocals, Ray Manzarek on keyboards, Robby Krieger on guitar, and John Densmore on drums. They were known for their unique sound that combined elements of rock, blues, and psychedelia. The band achieved significant popularity in the late 1960s with songs like "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To the Other Side)," and "Riders on the Storm." Jim Morrison's charismatic stage presence and poetic lyrics added to the band's mystique.
