Acting My Age

I don’t know how to act my age.

I’ve never been this age before.

People often associate acting one's age with being responsible, sophisticated, and all those adult-like qualities. But who says acting your age can't involve a little mischief and childlike fun? Sure, you can pay your bills on time and make responsible decisions, but that doesn't mean you’re not allowed to unleash your inner goofball every now and then. Acting your age means embracing the balance between responsibility and embracing the joy and spontaneity that life can offer. After all, life's too short to take ourselves too seriously.
